Finish It! #31- A long night

Well done and thank you so much for participating again and providing us with another great story!


The earth was trembling. Not sure what to do she grabbed her little girl, hoping her son and husband were safe. She thought to drop her daughter outside somewhere safe before coming back to check on her remaining family. Outside her house, she saw many of her neighbors running out of their house too. There was a panic. She didn’t know where to leave her daughter when a loud noise distracted her. She turned and saw the roof of her house collapsed to the ground. Screaming she rushed towards the house but her neighbor Mr. Brown stopped her and carried her away while she kept shouting. Her one year old daughter was crying in her arms while she stood there staring at her house which was once filled with laughter and happiness was now a debris. She felt like world has stopped moving.
