Another great story done by one of my followers in the spirit of my Blog Event “Finish It!”. How much fun is it to see the different stories that develop out of one short paragraph. I hope they keep coming!
She carefully opened the door, not sure what to expect. It had been a while since she has visited. Nothing was the way she remembered and when her eyes finally got adjusted to the dark, what she saw made her shiver… it was him, it was Jason, the one who got away, the first one there ever was and the first one there would ever be. Jason Webb, her first love standing there in the doorway 18 years after they had last seen one another. Two lifetimes standing in the gap resting there between them and yet it was still there, that tugging of the heart strings, the vibration of two hundred butterfly wings flapping through their stomachs making each of them feel alive with wonder, excitement, fear, lust and longing.
